Nadia Hovan has built a career out of storytelling: on stage, on screen, on paper, and occasionally in line at the grocery store. A native of Vancouver and a graduate of both the triple threat program at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts (Toronto) and the broadcasting program at St. Clair College’s MediaPlex (Windsor), she has worked across Canada in theatre, radio, film, and television.
Nadia is the co-founder of the professional collective, Theatre Georgian Bay and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of actors through her youth theatre programs, with a particular love of teenagers. (Having two of her own, she’s well-versed in drama both on and off the stage.)
Nadia spent the last two decades developing scripts for major networks like Hallmark, Tubi and Lifetime, and was most recently the producer/writer/co-host of The Scoop Georgian Bay, a regional talk show that celebrates local stories, artists, and entrepreneurs. She lives in Collingwood, Ontario with her daughters, six pets, and a schedule that makes cloning feel less sci-fi and more strategy.
